These accounts offer maximum return, high liquidity, and are FDIC safe. For customers who have an Abington Bank Checking Account:

Passbook Savings
Abington Bank Passbook Accounts are interest-bearing accounts that allow unlimited deposits and withdrawals. We offer the following types of Passbook Accounts:

Certificates of Deposit
If you are in the market for a long or short-term investment, Certificates of Deposit (CDs) may be just right for you. Certificates are among the safest investment you can make. They are easy to understand and there is no fee or sales charge involved. You are protected from market value risks, since both your principal and interest are guaranteed. In addition, your Abington Bank accounts can be insured up to $100,000.
Term: 5 months to 10 years. Fixed Rates: according to term. Our certificate rates and terms apply to our Individual Retirement Accounts as well.

*Based on Fed Funds rate on the last business day of the previous month, this account rate will be adjusted monthly on the first calendar day of every month.
Interest accrues on balances over $1.00. Early withdrawal penalty may apply. We will notify you when your certificate is about to mature.
You have seven(7) days to adjust the term, complete a withdrawal, or close the account without penalty. Your certificate will automatically renew at the same term and current interest rate if you do not make any changes.
